It’s official, we’ve just passed the middle of January and the December product of the month is just now going up. You can call it what you will but in the end it boils down to the fact that the holiday season was a very relaxing time and we just couldn’t get ourselves up off our lazy bums in order to write this review. Trust us when we say, however, that The Opus is worth the wait in a BIG way.
We here at Visionskape stumbled on the opus some 3 or 4 months ago while going through news stories and after watching a few previews were immediately stunned that this product hadn’t been more popular. With a release date two years after The Secret and content quality that easily rivals if not surpasses that cultural phenomenon we were stunned that people didn’t eat this up, that it didn’t spread with the same wildfire that The Secret managed to. But our job here today isn’t to figure out what it is happen to keep this incredible movie out of the media and consequently out of the hands of many who would have benefitted from it, our job is to tell you why it’s imperative you watch it if you haven’t already.
You didn’t read wrong, in the previous paragraph we dared to say that The Opus not only rivals The Secret, it may actually be better! We all know that the main complaint that came from detractors of The Secret was that there was no emphasis on action, that the entire movie was too metaphysical. The issue with creating a movie that addresses these complaints is that, in as far as others have attempted it, the material loses that inspirational/motivational feel that The Secret offered in spades. We’re happy to announce here that the makers of The Opus delivered in a big way here. The movie is incredible, inspirational from the first word to the last you’ll find your heart beating faster as you realize that you can indeed achieve your dreams. In many ways The Opus did the same job that Beyond The Secret did while still maintaining the kind of production that makes you want to leave your house as soon as you’re done watching it to go do something… anything to move towards your goals and dreams.
As a brief synopsis The Opus uses the life of a violinist Vincenzo Vivaldi to draw parallels to achieving your dreams and living your dream life. In the movie incredible teachers such as Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Marci Shimoff, Bob Doyle and many more give you the tools to create your own personal opus, the masterpiece that will be your life and the legacy you leave. What separates this movie from the rest is not just the quality of the production, the number of great self-improvement teachers or even the inspiration it manages to convey, what separates this movie from the pack is the fact that they did not miss anything required to get you from your current situation to the life of your dreams. Vision, Overcoming Adversity, Planning, Action, and Giving Back (leaving your legacy) are all covered thoroughly making you feel like you’ve got all the tools you need… because you do.
